Warranty, Refund, and Exchange Policy


IN-STORE

Warranty

  • All MUJOSH-branded frames, lenses, and lenses from external suppliers (Zeiss, Essilor, etc.) have a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty (from the date of pick-up) that covers defects in the frame or lenses.  Our warranty does not cover: 
    • Aesthetic damage or wear and tear caused by normal use (scratches, chips, etc.).  
    • Intentional damage or damage caused by misuse.
    • Lost or stolen products.
  • All warranties are subject to an inspection by a Registered Optician and/or store management.  MUJOSH reserves the right to refuse any warranty.
  • Sale Items: items sold during a sale (Black Friday, Boxing Day, clearance, final sale, etc.) have a 90 days manufacturer’s warranty (from the date of pick-up).

Returns

  • Regularly Priced Items: we accept returns on products that are in perfect, saleable condition (including cases, clothes, sprays, and other accessories) in the 30 days following pick up of your order at any GTA MUJOSH stores.  Please note:
    • Refunds will only be issued on the original method of payment.
    • MUJOSH Surfaced and products from external suppliers (Zeiss, Essilor, etc.) are subject to a non-negotiable, 30% restocking fee.
    • Refunds are issued in cases of non-adaptation only if all other options are unsuccessful or refused by the customer.
    • Returns for any reason are not accepted past 30 days.
  • Sale Items: items sold during a sale (Black Friday, Boxing Day, clearance, final sale, etc.) are considered final sale and cannot be returned.
  • Consumable products (cases, cloths, sprays, etc.) cannot be returned.
  • MUJOSH reserves the right to refuse any return.

Exchange

  • Regularly Priced Items: we accept exchanges on products that are in perfect, saleable condition (including cases, clothes, sprays, and other accessories) in the 30 days following pick up of your order at any GTA MUJOSH stores.  Please note:
    • Exchanges may only occur ONE (1) time per order and do not result in an extension of the warranty or return periods.
    • Products from external suppliers (Zeiss, Essilor, etc.) may only be exchanged for products from the same supplier.
    • Exchanges on lenses as a result of a prescription change require a new prescription signed by an eye doctor to be brought or sent to the store within 30 days.
    • Exchanges in cases of non-adaptation are available for 30 days from the date of pick up.
    • Exchanges for any reason are not accepted past 30 days.
  • Sale Items: items sold during a sale (Black Friday, Boxing Day, clearance, final sale, etc.) can not be exchanged.
  • Consumable products (cases, cloths, sprays, etc.) cannot be exchanged.

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.  To start a return, you can contact us at hello@mujosh-canada.com Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.  Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your warranty or returns. 

Whatever the reason for your return or exchange, our process is as simple and stress-free as possible. You can make a free return or exchange with us for up to 30-days with your proof of purchase. No return for sale items and orders with manually entered prescriptions or expired prescriptions. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer if the item was purchased outside of Canada.

Important Information on All Returns

  • Items must be returned to us in perfect condition however:
    • Returns with wear and tear from use will not be accepted.
    • Returns with intentionally caused damaged will not be accepted.
  • Make sure all products are exactly as you received them with all cases, clothes, sprays, gifts with purchase, etc. included and in the original packaging.   
  • MUJOSH Canada reserves the right to reject any returned items that do not meet the above requirements. If your return is rejected, you will be notified via email.
  • For Canadian returns, we will send you a Canada Post return label.
  • For items purchased outside of Canada we recommend that items are returned through a reputable courier service with tracking to ensure they are protected and insured during transit.  MUJOSH Canada is not responsible for lost or stolen packages, or customs and duties!
  • Please make sure to add your order number on the commercial invoice.
Important Information on Prescription Returns
  • Customized lenses (prescription sunglass lenses, and MUJOSH Surfaced lenses) are subject to a 30% restocking fee when returned.
  • We're not responsible for prescriptions that are incorrect due to the customer providing inaccurate prescriptions or pupillary distance (PD) measurements, or any other inaccurate information.

Tracking Your Online Return
For return tracking purposes (as well as security), please retain a copy of the return tracking number from the return label you use. Once delivered to our store, returns take approximately 3-5 business days to process.

Receiving a Refund
Returns processed online and in-store can take up to 14 business to appear on the original payment method.  Please contact your bank or credit card company before contacting us if your refund is late.

Damaged Items

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received an incorrect item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges 

Exchanges are possible in the first 30 days from the date you receive the glasses.  In begin an exchange, contact us for a return and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled in the first 24 hours.  Please contact us at hello@mujosh-canada.com in order to arrange your cancellation and refund.  Cancellations made after the first 24 hours will be refunded with a 30% restocking fee.  We cannot cancel orders if they have already been shipped.
